According to a recent study released by HUD, Our Place Housing Solutions’ Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-housing Program is as successful and in some cases, more successful, than the average program outcomes for HPRP programs nationwide.
To date, OPHS has served nearly 250 households in Bellflower, Paramount, and Lakewood.
Approximately 75% of all households enrolled in OPHS’ prevention program exit stably housed within a short period of time.
Approximately 60% of recently homeless households who are re-housed through OPHS’ rapid re-housing program exit the program stably housed after a short period of time.
Additionally, thanks to the generous support and donations of local community members, OPHS has been able to furnish new apartments and supply household goods for a number of previously homeless families who have been re-housed through the HPRP program.
OPHS looks forward to being able to continue to provide this valuable service to its community throughout the third year of the HPRP program.
